About the role

Reporting directly into the Assistant Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant is responsible for supporting accurate completion of month end and year end reporting and management of the Fixed Asset. In this role, the Financial Accountant assists in preparing the company’s financial statements and returns and supports the wider business in all aspects of Financial Reporting and major focus in statutory lodgements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of month end, quarterly and annual financial reports as well as statutory reports for Coca Cola Europacific Partners Fiji Finance
  • Compile working paper for Cash Tax reporting to group office
  • Carry out bank reconciliation
  • Ensure implementation of best practice is in place for cashflow reporting and forecasting.
  • Perform timely General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Responsible for carrying out physical verification of assets and outcomes of the verification to be reconciled to the accounting records.
  • Responsible for preparing rolling forecast of depreciation in adaptation to CCEP standards of reporting.
  • Support CCEPF’s capital and fixed asset requirements, driving best practices to ensure CCEP wide process adherence as well as alignment of reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for Capex Tracking Database
  • Responsible for maintaining Tax FAR for all assigned entities
  • Assist with Tax return preparation.
  • Assist with compilation of Transfer Pricing documentation.
  • Assist with Internal and External audit.
  • Assist with quarterly Financial Control reporting.
  • Assist with compiling data for insurance policy renewals
  • Collaborate with rest of the control team to ensure on-going improvement across financial reporting and operating activities.
  • Support Group Finance in the research and documentation of complex technical accounting issues (both measurement and disclosure issues) which will impact both CCEP Fiji as well as the wider Europacific Partners organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Accounting and Finance activities, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce required, working towards post graduate qualification (CA/CPA preferred)
  • Proficient in MSD, MS Excel and Word as well as strong understanding of Finance ERP Systems.
  • Demonstrated experience of a broad base in Finance, FMCG organization preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in reporting, operational and business change initiatives
